🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃
For many youth in foster care, home should never be a scary place. CASA volunteers help make sure that every child has a safe, trusted adult by their side—someone who provides stability, support, and care.
Together, we can be the light that brightens their path. 🕯️

🎃 As Halloween approaches, let’s remember that while many children enjoy costumes & candy, for some—especially children in foster care—the holiday can be overwhelming. Sensory overload & spooky decorations may trigger past trauma. 🧠💔 Let's aim to create calm, enjoyable experiences that make them feel safe. Being trauma-informed means understanding & showing empathy. By making thoughtful adjustments, we can help every child celebrate in a way that supports their well-being. We are so proud of our CASA volunteers for continuously adapting to meet the unique needs of each child, while having a good time!✨💙 #HalloweenWithHeart #TraumaInformedCare
